A correct digit that is in the secret code but in a different position from the one proposed.
2What is a bull?
A correct digit in the exact position within the secret code.
3How does Bulls and Cows differ from Mastermind?
Mastermind uses coloured pegs; Bulls and Cows uses numbers, but the deduction logic is identical.
4How many digits does the secret code have?
By default it's 4 unique digits, but you can choose between 3 and 6 depending on your level.
5Can digits be repeated?
Not in classic mode. In advanced mode yes, to add difficulty.
6What's the best strategy to win?
Start with varied digits, note every clue and use deductive logic to rule out impossible combinations.
7What's the minimum number of attempts needed?
With a lot of luck it could be solved in 1 guess, but an average expert player does it in 4-6.
8Is there a time limit?
Not in classic mode. The time-attack mode introduces a timer for added pressure.
